Master in Supercomputing

The goal of the Master in Supercomputing program is to support the development of highly qualified professionals with an expertise in computer science equivalent to a degree in computer engineering.

This Masters program provided by the UPC is a pilot program whose objectives are to gain strength and influence, eventually becoming an interuniversity Master present throughout various Computer Science departments in Spain - all with the support and momentum afforded by the Consolider Supercomputing and eScience project and all of its participants.

The program guarantees a set of knowledge focused on one or more emphases, including:

Algorithms and programming

  • Computer systems
  • Virtual reality simulation and interactive graphic design

The Master in Supercomputing promotes participation in research and can be oriented towards working on a doctoral thesis.

Credit load: 120 ECTS

A 180 ECTS diploma is required for application to this Master
