WP1/2/3 Computer Sciences and WP8 Material Sciences: BSC and UPM

UPM Group - Two of our collaborators visited Maricel at the BSC over the Christmas period to evaluate the Cell architecture, with ambiguous results.

Collaboration with the CASE-BSC group to produce a optimized version of SIESTA for the Cell processor, after the implementation of the OpenMP parallelization paradigm in the early stages of the present period.
